2. General information

Shizukara is a web-based coloring app. The app can be used without a user account. In that case, progress is stored locally in the browser. A user account is optional and is only used to store progress or gallery entries on the server.

3. Server logs and hosting

When this website is accessed, the web server processes technically necessary access data such as IP address, date and time of access, requested file, transferred data volume, browser type, operating system and referrer. This processing is required to deliver the website, maintain stability and security, and analyze technical errors. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. Local browser storage

Shizukara uses local browser storage such as IndexedDB and Local Storage to save coloring progress, settings, theme, music volume and PWA data on the device. Without login, this data remains on the device and is not transmitted to the server.

5. Cookies and sessions

Without login, Shizukara does not use tracking cookies. If a user account is used, a technically necessary session cookie may be set to keep the user logged in. This cookie is not used for advertising or tracking.

6. User account and progress sync

During registration or login, the entered email address, a password hash, an optional display name and server-side progress data may be processed. Passwords are never stored in plain text. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

7. Music, artworks and export

Music files and artworks are loaded from this website. Exported images are generated locally in the browser in this MVP. Server-side storage of exports or gallery entries only takes place when the corresponding function is actively used.

8. No analytics or advertising services

This version does not use external analytics, tracking or advertising services.

9. Data subject rights

Data subjects have rights under the GDPR, including rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. There is also a right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
